Grown Ups 2 Review!

Bonjour! This summer has been rather good for new movies and one of my favourites is Grown Ups 2. I'm a huge fan of the first Grown Ups movie, I've watched it so many times but it's one of those movies that I can watch again and again and it still makes me laugh, so I was so excited when I found out there was going to be a second movie. I think all the actors in the movie seem to work so well together and it's a movie I would recommend for anyone because it'll make little kids laugh with it's silliness but it also has a lot of jokes for the older views so it's great for all ages.
I feel that you have to watch the first movie to get some of the jokes in the second one, which isn't too bad if you haven't seen the first one because then you get to watch two incredibly funny movies! I find it really hard to do movie reviews and without spoiling it which is why my movie reviews aren't the best, but I can say that Adam Samberg makes a sneaky appearance in the movie and his scene is probably one of the best which is all I can say without ruining it. Another thing I love about this movie is that all the characters in the first movie are played by the same actors in the second one, which sounds stupid but it sort of annoys me when different actors play the character in each movie so that little thing made me enjoy the movie that little bit more, so if you've seen the first Grown Ups and liked all the characters and actors then you're bound to like Grown Ups 2! Also, both of these movies are set during the summer so they're great summer time movies that you could relax and watch after a long day to finish off a nice summer day.
Like I said, I can't really say much about this movie without ruining it other then it's an amazingly hilarious movie that I think everyone will enjoy! It has a great cast and jokes throughout the movie for the whole family so get yourself to the nearest cinema to see this movie if you haven't already and hopefully you'll thank me! As always, I hope you've found this blog post helpful and if you have any suggestions, questions or advice leave me a comment or contact me on any of my accounts that are always on the right hand side of my blog. Thanks for reading :)

July Favourites 2013

Yes people, it is that time again. It's a new month which means it's time for another monthly favourites, woo! This months favourites is a bit random so I'm just going to get straight into it.
The first thing on my list of things that I've been loving throughout July is a book, which might be surprising for those who know me because I don't read much. I'm going to be honest, I haven't actually finished this book yet but I only have about a chapter left. It's "I Was a Boy in Belsen" by Tomi Reichental and I got this book by the author who is a survivor of the holocaust and he visited our school to talk to the history students about his story of surviving the holocaust and what it was like for a Jewish person living during World War II. The book not only talks about what it was like for him during the holocaust but also how some of his family survived. I found the book so interesting but it was also really sad to see so many people being treat so badly, but I think everyone should read it so Tomi's story can be shared around the world.
If any of you follow me on Twitter, which you can do here, you'll know that I've been absolutally obsessed with Bondi Rescue lately. For any of you that don't know, it's a TV show about Australian lifeguards that work on Bondi Beach. I think it's so interesting to see how professional lifeguards work and save people's lives on a daily basis, and not only are the lifeguards extremely good looking but they are also really funny so you can get a good laugh watching this. For anyone wondering, I love all the lifeguards but my absolute favourites have to be Mouse or Chappo.
The next thing I've been loving is probably the most random, it's McDonald's Iced Mochas and oh dear lord are they delicious. They're practically chocolate milk mixed with coffee with crushed ice and cream on top and they're amazing, I could live on them. They're my favourite drink of all time, ever!
Since the weather was really nice in Ireland recently and it was really hot, it does make you sweat whether you like it or not, so a product I've been loving has been the Sure Long Lasting Protection Deodorant. They stop you sweating, obviously but the thing I love most is they have a range of loads of different smells and they all smell really nice and the smell stays on your skin so you don't have to keep spraying it on you throughout the day.
Another product I've been loving is a really cheap lip gloss by Natural Collection. It's one of their Juicy Lips in "Raspberry Ripple". It's a nice light pink colour with a bit of shimmer and I robbed this lip gloss from my mam because she didn't like how the glitter felt on her lips but I don't mind it. My favourite thing about this lip gloss is that it smells amazing, it smells really fruity and just really nice.
I'm not one to use fake lashes because I was blessed with lashes that I'm happy with but I was at a party the other day and decided I would try some. I bought some iEnvy by Kiss ones in Pennys/Primark, they were the "Au Naturable 01" ones and people said they couldn't tell I had lashes on. I was really surprised with how well they stayed on throughout the night because they were quite cheap but they didn't move at all and I kept touching my eyes so I thought they were really good!
The last few products in my July Favourites are all hair products. The first is a dry shampoo, it's the Batiste Dry Shampoo in "Cool and Crisp Fresh" which smells really nice and makes my hair feel really clean and fresh if I don't have the time to wash my hair in the shower. I'm not saying I don't shower and just use this, I shower very often but sometimes my hair just feels a bit icky so this product just gives my hair the lift it needs.
The last two products are from the same range, they're from the Trevor Sorbie "Beautifully Straightened" range. My favourite products from the range are the "Protect, Flatten and Shine Spray" and the "Lightweight Serum" which I use before I straighten my hair with a straightener. They protect you're hair when you use a straightener and it keeps your hair super straight until you curl it, or wash it. It also makes your hair very shiny which is always nice.
We're finished, yay! So they're all the things that I loved all throughout July and that I will probably love for a very long time to come because they're all fabulous. Hopefully this post will, maybe, introduce you to some new things that you will grow to love as much as me and if you have any suggestions of thing you think I should try then feel free to leave a comment or contact me in any way, all my links are always on the side of my blog. And if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, I'd be more then happy to help. As always, thanks for reading :)

Naked Palette!

I'm probably the worst blogger in the world, I haven't written a blog post in nearly 2 months and I'm really sorry but it's not like my posts are in high demand or anything. I've been finding it really hard to think of things to blog about because I haven't bought any new products or seen any new movies or anything so that's one reason for being absent, the other being I've just sort of forgotten that I had a blog *awkward*. I was thinking of doing a summer essentials post but I don't really have any products that I've found essential during summer other then sun cream but I've been using the Urban Decay Naked Palette a good bit so I'm going to share my thoughts and some of the looks I like to do with it, so let's crack on!
I don't think I've ever heard anything bad said about the Naked Palette, and I know a lot of people have it. It's just such a great palette to have in your make up collection. It has 12 different eye shadows in the palette ranging from light to dark colours. Most of the eye shadows are shimmery but they're are two matte colours in the palette and they're both  really nice browns. All the eye shadows have great pigmentation and are really good quality and they all go really well together so you can create so many different looks with this palette from everyday neutral looks to very dramatic night time looks and everything in between. When you buy the palette it comes with a brush and a little Urban Decay Primer Potion which I think is amazing, I get very oily lids and if I don't use a base or a primer the eye shadow creases after about 5 minutes and the Primer Potion makes my eye shadow last all day and it doesn't move at all! I can't remember exactly how much the palette cost when I bought it but it wasn't any more then €50 which is quite a good price when you think about how many eye shadows you're getting and how good quality they are. So I think the Naked Palette is something everyone should have in their makeup collection.
The only bad thing about the Naked Palette is that there are so many different colours and looks to pick from that sometimes I get overwhelmed and can't choose what makeup to do! All the looks I create with the palette are pretty simple but look really nice, all the colours compliment each other really well to create really nice combinations of colours that make the eyes stand out and looks really nice. Before I create any makeup look I put a little bit of the Primer Potion over my lid and blend it out with my finger, then I wait a minute for it to set before starting with the eye shadow. When using the Primer Potion you only need a tiny bit because it blend out really well so a little goes a long way. If I'm in a huge rush I will literally just but "Sin" all over my lid and just blend it out with a bit of 'Naked" then line my lash line with some gel eyeliner and add loads of mascara which I do with most of these looks. If I've got time I like to brush "Sin" all over the lid, then add some "Dark Horse" to the outer corner and blend it out and into the crease a bit then I'll place some "Creep" on the very outer corner and blend that out as well. "Virgin" is a really great highlight colour so I'll place that in the inner corner of my eye and maybe on the brow bone. For a really dramatic look, I like to use "Hustle" and place that all over the eye and blend it out really well, then I'll use a little bit of "Creep" in the outer corner and blend that like crazy as well. I like to get a little bit of "Naked" on a blending brush and blend out the edges of my eye shadow to make sure that it's blended really well because I don't think it looks good at all when there are just harsh lines in a makeup look, I think it looks so much more put together and neater when the edges are blended really well. So they're three looks I like to create with the Naked Palette but, like I said, you can make so many different looks with this palette and if you're like me and get overwhelmed and don't know what kind of looks to make there are so many good tutorials on YouTube, so if you click here it will link you to loads of great tutorials using the Naked Palette.
So that's my thoughts on the Urban Decay Naked Palette, I hope that helped you in one way or another. If you have any suggestions of other blog posts you'd like me to do or if you have any questions about any of the posts I've written then  feel free to leave comments on any of the posts or contact me on any of my social network pages which are always linked on the side of my blog. I'm really going to try to keep up with my blog posts from now on. If you could please follow my blog, it will only take a minute and it would mean so much to me. As always thank you so much for reading and I hope everyone has a lovely summer :)
