Top 5 Make Up Products!

Lately I've had no inspiration at all for a blog post and the other day I was on YouTube, as usual, and a video I came across was a Top 5 Make Up Products and I thought to myself I wear make up and a good bit of it so I could do this, and that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm obviously no expert when it comes to make up, I've learned all I know from watching YouTube videos and lots of them. I'm just going to give my opinion of these products and just because a product might work one way on me doesn't mean it will definitely work the same way on you but it may be worth a try!

Firstly, my number one holy grail product of all time is Maybelline The Falsies Flared! It's the only mascara I use and I've been using it for about two years now and I'm still in love with it. I used to use the original Falsies but then I tried the Flared one and I prefer it, by far. I love the formulation of the Flared one, I feel it's less messy and less liquidy or something I don't actually know what it is but I used to get the original one all over my eye lids but that doesn't happen with the Flared. I also prefer the brush on the Flared, it's kind of thick but it's also curved which gives the lashes a good curl. This mascara gives your lashes volume and length and I just love it. Sometimes I just wear mascara and I feel this mascara makes your lashes look so dramatic and it draws so much attention to them, which is exactly what you want when you haven't got any foundation or anything on. If I could only have one make up product for the rest of my life this would be the one I would just, without a doubt! Every beauty blogger raves about this product so that just proves how good it is.

My second make up favourite would have to be the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. Being a hormonal, teenage girl I get a lot of nasty face demons (spots) and they're not very nice to look at and recently my skin has been really bad and this product has been a life saver. I love the coverage this concealer gives you and the consistency of it. Not only do I use this concealer for spots but I use it for dark under eye circles as well and it works a treat on them, I blends really nicely and still gives amazing coverage. It's also really cheap and that's always a good thing. Again, all the beauty bloggers love this product and I've never heard a bad word about it!

My third favourite product would have to be the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which I've written a whole blog post about which you can read here. Since this product got its own post, I won't go into as much detail, what I will say is every single eye shadow in this palette is amazing, they're all so pigmented and easy to blend. The colours are so versatile and so many different looks can be made using the one palette, the colours are great for all seasons and I think they would work on all skins tones.

The fourth product in my list of favourites is the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I don't like to have a lot of shine on my face but because I have dry skin matte foundations don't sit well on my skin so I use this powder over my foundation to get rid of any shine and it works amazingly. I also think it gives a little bit more coverage so sometimes I will just wear concealer and some of this powder just to add the tiniest amount of coverage to my skin. So if you don't like having a dewy finish to your foundation, this is the product for you!

Last but not least on my Top 5 Make Up Products is Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. I've been using this foundation for over a year and it's so good. I like to apply it with my hands and just blend it out with a foundation brush and I think this method gives it the nicest finish. By using my hands I feel it gives good coverage, enough to cover the redness in my face but you can still see my natural skin. I feel that as teenage girls we don't need to completely cake every inch of our faces and if you use a light foundation then just use concealer in the places you need it then it can look really natural and youthful. This foundation does leave a dewy finish but like I said, I just use the Stay Matte Powder over it and the finish is lovely. I also love how this foundation feels on my skin and it smells amazing and fruity!

So there is my Top 5 Make Up Products. Hopefully you found something you might like to try out and see how it works on you.
