Hi there. So on Friday I went to the Titanic Experience in Belfast. Being a history nerd I found it very interesting and I highly recommend it to all.
When we first got there we got our tickets and then went for some lunch as we had some time to kill before it was time for us to start the tour. The food was alright but I've had better. After lunch we went to the shop to buy some memorabilia, I got a pencil sharpener because I badly needed one but there was so much stuff to choose from. There were replicas of the blue, heart necklaces from the 1997 Titanic movie, mugs, book marks, badges and loads more.
The time came for us to start the tour so we got in the queue and got out our tickets. We went up the stairs to the first floor where it had pictures and facts on the wall about people involved in the building of the Titanic, so we walked around and looked at all of that. Then, we were ready to go to the next part of the tour which was my favourite part. We had to wait in another queue, but this line lead us to lifts which brought us up to a balcony kind of level which, apparently, stood at 70 ft. Next for the exciting part, this part of the tour consisted of a 6 minute ride which lifted you up and down to show you how the Titanic was made. They had videos projected on the walls and a voice over explaining everything you were seeing. When the ride was over there was another area with facts and pictures on the wall. My second favourite part of the tour was when we were seated in a room to watch a short movie which was an exploration of the Titanic, itself. It went over the whole ship and explained everything you could see. When the movie was over we walked down the stairs where there were screens all around the room and a glass floor. As you step on the glass floor and look down there's screens underneath giving a birds eye view of the Titanic which was amazing but it felt so weird. The screens around the room were touch screens that had pictures of items found around the boat so you can see where it was found and it said what the items were. The last part of the tour was a room that had information on the sinking of the ship. It had facts on people who died and it had voice overs of people who had survived and what it was like while it was sinking. Then, when we were finished we exchanged our tickets for ones that look like the ones people in first class would have used to board the Titanic back in 1912.
Overall, I enjoyed the Titanic Experience and it think it's something everyone should check out whether they're a history nerd or not. Thanks for reading :)

Sure Why Not, YOLO
Well, I'm Catriona and I've been wanting to start a blog for a while now but I was scared no one will read it. There's probably no one reading this but I was thinking that if I didn't do this I would regret it. This post is just going to be an introduction kind of thing.
So hi, how are you? I'm grand for anyone wondering. As I've said, I'm Catriona. I'm 15 years old and I live in Ireland. I have long brown hair and I have hazel/green eyes (they kind of change colour). My favourite subjects in school are History and English. I love writing and I always have. I'm in Transition Year in school so I have loads of time on my hands. I love You Me at Six, they're my favourite band, people, my favourite everything really. My favourite movie is Batman The Dark Knight. I love reading other peoples blogs. Bloggers I love are the likes of Leanne Woodfull, Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter. I'm not a religious person, and to be honest it all confuses me but I respect everyone's opinion and I would never tell anyone that their opinion is wrong! I love going to concerts, local gigs and just socialising in general.
Even though I'm only at the young age of 15, I still feel that I'm very mature but you wouldn't agree if you knew me. I act kind of childish but I think about things very maturely, if that makes sense. I have been through very sad times and I've had my fair share of loses. The best moment in my life was when I met You Me at Six, I've hugged Josh Franceschi, high-fived Max Helyer and Matt Barnes said I had a nice face but I sort of cried when I met them as they are my heroes.
I think you know enough about me now to get a rough idea of what I'm like. I hope you enjoy my future blog posts if there is anyone even reading this, if not this is awkward... Thanks for reading :)
